I think your first two diptychs are strong because of the clear parallel between the two images. It is evident that you tried to mirror form, and in the second one, color as well. Your fourth diptych is also engaging because of its compositional intrigue and its intense colors. I think that your third diptych is very daring. I like how you chose to use texture, as well as color, to connect your two images. I almost feel as if I could touch both of the images. Yeay! Good job!
The first diptych is very powerful. The texture of both the lettuce and the fabric completely absorbs the viewer in the undulating forms of both images. I'm also drawn to the chilies/leaves image (the first one). The color play between the two is right on the mark; they successfully complement each other. While I find these two images to be the most compelling, I feel that all four images are strong and work well together as a group.
